NeuroCritical Care Solutions

About NeuroCritical Care Solutions

NeuroCritical Care Solutions (NCCS) is a New York City-based telemedicine service offering case-based, customized neurocritical care strategies to licensed physicians in hospitals world-wide.

NCCS was started in 2013 by world-renowned, fellowship-trained, board-certified Neurocritical Care physician, Dr. Rupendra Swarup.

Dr. Swarup traveled to hospitals around the world, where he found that very few first-rate neurocritical care units presently exist. Therefore, many patients faced with serious brain injuries have limited treatment options in these hospitals.

Studies have shown that there are significantly improved patient outcomes when brain injuries are managed by neurointensivists.

Dr. Swarup's unique training in the management of brain injury allows him and his team to offer critical life-saving treatment strategies on a case-by-case basis. The team is available 24 hours a day.

How it Works

When a patient enters any hospital with a brain injury, family members are able to choose to enhance the care provided by that hospital with the expertise provided by Dr. Swarup and his team.

The process begins when Dr. Swarup conducts a thorough analysis of the patient’s images and case history. From there, Dr. Swarup continues with a live virtual discussion with the patient’s attending physicians.

With Dr. Swarup’s medical advice, final decisions on the management of each particular patient can be made by the patient’s attending physicians at the host hospital. We have demonstrated repeatedly that this combined effort produces significantly better results in the recovery of the patient’s brain injury.
