You understand that Medical Information is solely based upon Patient information as you or your Doctor have provided to us. As such, you understand that this Medical Information may not necessarily be accurate to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease for a given Patient.
You agree that it is you and/or your Doctor’s sole responsibility to determine whether Medical Information is appropriate for the diagnosis and treatment of a Patient’s health issue, including, but not limited to, surgeries, treatments, or medications. You understand that Medical Information is by no means complete or exhaustive due to the limitations of us not being able to physically examine a Patient, and that as a result, such Medical Information cannot encompass all conditions, disorders, health-related issues, or respective treatments.
You understand that any information you or your Doctor provides about a Patient is NOT covered under health-related privacy laws, such as the United States’ Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or the United Kingdom’s Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (HASWA). While we will take reasonable care to protect Patient information according to our Privacy Policy, we do not undertake any duties under HIPAA, HASWA, and other such laws, nor are we required to do so.
You understand that we make no guarantees or warranties that any treatments and/or medications provided in our Medical Information have been evaluated by any government agency such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) or the United Kingdom Food Standards Agency (UKFSA), nor do we guarantee or warrant that any such treatments and/or medications will necessarily work to treat, cure or prevent disease in the Patient. At all times, you agree to look to the corresponding manufacturer for all relevant information about such treatments and/or medications including without limitation, usage, interactions, etc.
In light of the forgoing, you understand and agree that we are not liable nor do we assume any liability other than as required by law for our Medical Information as well as your reliance on it. In no event shall we be liable for direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages related to your use of our Medical Information.
